Vip would love to have been there if RUSSELL BRAND and BRITNEY SPEARS had met before they sorted their lives out...
But the pair have cleaned up their acts (well, ish) - and managed to get on with some work when they did hook up.
Comic Russ, 33, and pop star Britney, 26, will present the MTV Video Music Awards on September 7th.
Meanwhile, reformed Britney also showed she is juggling work and motherhood well. She treated sons Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, to a day out near her Bel Air home in LA.
Brit lost custody of her children to ex-hubby KEVIN FEDERLINE, 30, after a court battle. But she is allowed to have them three times per week.
The singer has certainly turned things around. In February she was admitted to a psychiatric ward after she was apparently seen talking to trees.

The Veronicas posted a video update on their YouTube channel, with twin sisters Lisa and Jess Origliasso playing it cool during a conversation until they dropped news they were going on tour with the Jonas Brothers, then teenybopper screaming ensued. Then Lisa followed up with another clip offering some more details on the tour, which is kicking off August 24th at First Midwest Bank Ampitheater in Tinley Park, Illinois. In addition, their new album 'Hook Me Up' gets a U.S. release on August 26th. (thanks to popdirt.com for the video information)

This months artist of the month poll is really going to be hard to choose cause we have a lot of best singers and bands that is fighting for a chance to be in the header for a month but I can predict who might win. We have former American Idol contestants that are releasing their albums next month like Kellie Pickler, Jennifer Hudson and Kristy Lee Cook. Then we have Jessica Simpson who is going country for her next album and Daniel Powter who is releasing his sophomore album next month. Then we have some anticipated albums of the year like Keri Hilson, Missy Elliot, Ne-Yo and Pussycat Dolls. After that we get some rock groups that are releasing their albums next month which are Anberlin, Jack's Mannequin and Mcfly. Then we got some rappers battling out for artist of the month which are T-Pain, T.I., Nelly and Busta Rhymes. Lastly, we got some newcomers fighting for a chance to be recognized for the artist of the month but will that happen and the newcomers who are releasing an album next month are Colby O'Donis, Jazmine Sullivan, Donnie Klang, and Josh
Hoge.

First Bernie Mac passed away earlier yesterday due to complications of pneumonia and then the volleyball coach for the men Olympic team relative died and now Issac Hayes who played Chef in South Park has passed away too and also Pink's ex-husband younger brother passed away during a practice session for the Doug Henry New England Grand Prix and he was just 21 years old.
Wow, I can't believe it that all of this happened during this past weekend. Please no more sad news and give us some happy news.
